Rachael Fulton, LPC

Rachael Fulton is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who completed her graduate degree at Post University. She has been working in the mental health field since 2016. Rachael has gained direct therapeutic experience with teenagers and young adults over the last 7 years working in a variety of different treatment settings including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential. Rachael has experience working with a diverse client population managing a variety of different mental health conditions including mood disorders, depression and anxiety, substance use disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, trauma, and personality disorders.

Rachael uses a collaborative approach with clients utilizing the therapeutic relationship to build a safe environment where clients can heal from past wounds in order to move forward in their lives. Rachael has worked with clients who are seeking more fulfillment in their lives and may be struggling in various different areas such as with relationships, dealing with grief, bullying and other social issues, managing intrusive thoughts, low self esteem, self destructive behaviors, maladaptive coping skills, and general mental health issues. Rachael has worked with clients from a variety of different backgrounds and utilizes an integrated, client centered approach to collaborate with the client to figure out what works best for their individual needs. Rachael is trained in a variety of different treatment modalities including CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (Dialectical behavioral therapy), and ACT (Acceptance and commitment therapy) and utilizes a strengths based approach to empower the client to move towards positive change and their goals for the future. Rachael utilizes a compassionate and empathetic approach with all clients and utilizes her genuine desire to help to work with clients on what they desire for their lives and working through the barriers that may be holding them back from accomplishing their goals.

When Rachael is not working she enjoys spending her time being active and outside, whether it be hiking, biking, in the gym, or on a kayak. Rachael appreciates and utilizes the healing qualities of nature and movement in her own life. Rachael also enjoys spending time with her cats and dog, friends, and family, as well as reading, traveling, and exploring new places.

 

Rachael Haimindra, LMFT

Rachael Haimindra is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, both in NY and CT. She was born in Mumbai, India, but raised in Westfield, NJ for most of her life. Today, Rachael currently resides in Connecticut with her husband and baby girl. In her free time, you can find her reading, spending quality time with her family and friends, trying out new restaurants, and engaging in self care.

In her professional career, Rachael received her undergraduate education from Loyola University Maryland in 2014, where she got her Bachelors in Psychology and minored in Forensics. She then went on to receive her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ).

Rachael currently uses a vast variety of therapeutic techniques/interventions when working with her clients, accustomed to providing a safe and professional environment with the upmost confidentiality and care. She gravitates towards The Gottman Method, Person Centered, CBT, and Family Systems.  Rachael has experience working with clients who struggle with  anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, relationship/marital issues, and grief and loss.

Miranda Luis, LPCA

Clinical Supervisor

 

Miranda Luis is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) who received a master’s degree in Psychology from SCSU in 2020 & a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from SHU in 2022. There she was also awarded the Outstanding Field Placement award. She has experience working with teenagers, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, grief, and life transitions. She is also a military wife who has dedicated some of her counseling career to Crisis Intervention; Trauma counseling, working with PTSD/Trauma within all populations but specialized focused within Military/Veterans and first responders.

Miranda utilizes person-centered therapy approach with a collaboration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), & Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) within her treatment. She is also working towards her EMDR certification (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) which is highly effective with the use of CPT with trauma/PTSD clients.

When Miranda is not working, she is spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs. She loves to travel and see the beauty of the world and new places. She loves spending time outside, reading, furthering her skills & knowledge through continued education courses, and is a complete foodie, always looking forward to trying different foods from all different cultures and places.
