Kelly Duque, MA

Resource Coordinator and Licensed Professional Counselor Graduate Intern

Kelly Duque is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program at Sacred Heart University. She has completed two clinical residencies focused on Skills in Helping Relationships and Group Counseling and currently provides services under the direct supervision of Rachael Haimindra, LMFT and Director of New Hope Therapeutic Services.

Kelly works with individuals across the lifespan, including children, teens, and adults. She has experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, adjustment-related challenges, and relationship or marital concerns. She brings a client-centered approach to therapy, offering a warm, safe space for reflection, healing, and growth. Kelly integrates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in meeting their goals.

Before entering the counseling profession, Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary College and had a successful 20-year career in advertising. Inspired by a desire for deeper fulfillment and connection, she transitioned into the helping profession during the pandemic.

Kelly leads with empathy, authenticity, and respect for each client’s unique journey. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.

Amber Dibner, MA

Resource Coordinator and Licensed Professional Counselor Graduate Intern

Amber Dibner is a graduate student clinician at New Hope Therapeutic Services, working under the close supervision of Rachael Haimindra, LMFT and Director of New Hope. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sacred Heart University.

Amber provides thoughtful and compassionate support to children, teens, and young adults. She is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and collaboration. Amber draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies and embraces a neurodiversity-affirming approach to help clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, emotional regulation, life transitions, and identity development. She has particular experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and those in need of developmentally responsive care.

Amber’s professional foundation includes years of experience supporting children and families, which informs her warm, attuned, and flexible style as a clinician. She believes in meeting each client where they are and creating a space where they feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

When she’s not working, Amber enjoys taking her dog on walks, spending time with her family and friends, and getting creative through crafting. She brings that same sense of care and creativity into her clinical work, helping clients move forward with confidence and connection.
