What is LENS?
LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) is a gentle, FDA-registered technology that helps the brain reset itself for optimal functioning. Unlike traditional neurofeedback, LENS does not require active participation. It works by briefly stimulating the brain with low-intensity electromagnetic signals to “nudge” it out of stuck patterns—allowing for improved mood, focus, and resilience.

WHO COULD BENEFIT
LENS has shown positive outcomes in both children and adults. It may support clients experiencing:
* Anxiety & Depression
* ADHD & Executive Functioning Difficulties
* PTSD & Trauma
* Chronic Stress or Burnout
* Brain Fog
* Migraines & Headaches
* Sleep Difficulties
* Emotional Reactivity
* Sensory Sensitivities
* Concussion Recovery
* Substance Use & Recovery Support
Because LENS works directly with the central nervous system, it can complement and enhance traditional talk therapy—helping clients access deeper emotional regulation, clarity, and healing.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Each LENS Neurofeedback session is brief and gentle, typically lasting 15 to 30 minutes. Small sensors are placed on the scalp to measure brainwave activity, and a customized, low-intensity signal—lasting just a few seconds—is then delivered. The signal is painless and imperceptible. You don’t need to concentrate or “do” anything; your brain responds and adjusts naturally, without conscious effort.
LENS works by helping the brain reorganize and shift out of patterns that may be stuck or dysregulated. Because the process is subtle and individualized, clients often begin to notice changes within 3 to 6 sessions—though some experience effects sooner. These may include improved sleep, sharper mental clarity, reduced anxiety, fewer headaches, or greater emotional balance.
For most clients, LENS is provided once per week, though frequency can be adjusted based on sensitivity and response. A full course of treatment generally ranges from 8 to 20 sessions, depending on the nature of your concerns and how your nervous system responds.
The changes from LENS are cumulative and often lasting—supporting long-term shifts in mood regulation, mental clarity, and stress recovery. Our clinicians tailor each protocol carefully to ensure safe and effective results.
