Hannah Martin, LMSW
Hannah Martin, LMSW, earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and her Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut. She has experience supporting children, teens, young adults, and adults across school systems, community mental health programs, and outpatient settings, allowing her to work confidently with clients at every stage of life.
Hannah provides individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. She tailors her approach to meet each client’s developmental needs, utilizing play-based and expressive strategies when appropriate for younger children, and skills-focused, insight-oriented work for adolescents and adults. Her goal is always to help clients feel understood, supported, and equipped with tools they can use in their everyday lives.
Her clinical experience includes facilitating social-emotional learning groups, providing crisis intervention and de-escalation support, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans. She also collaborates closely with caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic support for her clients. Hannah is skilled in helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, interpersonal stress, and family or relational challenges.
Hannah’s therapeutic style is warm, grounded, and client-centered. She brings a steady, compassionate presence to the therapy room and is committed to creating a safe environment where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and build confidence in themselves.
Outside of her clinical work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets, and loves exploring the outdoors.
