Catherine Vigliotti, LMSW

Catherine is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Connecticut and is currently preparing for her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) exam. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Capella University and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University.

Catherine is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and their families as they navigate mental health and behavioral challenges. She has extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, and sensory processing differences. Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming, individualized, and rooted in respect for each person’s unique strengths and communication needs. She also has a background in working with individuals with special needs, people who have experienced homelessness, and those with significant behavioral concerns.

Using a combination of evidence-based modalities—including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices—Catherine helps clients build emotional regulation, improve coping skills, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. She is a strong advocate for the individuals and families she works with and finds deep fulfillment in watching her clients grow, thrive, and reach their goals.

Outside of her clinical work, Catherine enjoys cuddling with her two dogs and expressing her creativity through building intricate LEGO sets. In the warmer months, she loves hiking, biking, and spending time with friends and family. A committed lifelong learner, she is constantly exploring new hobbies and pursuing trainings to deepen her clinical knowledge.
