Catherine Vigliotti, LCSW
Catherine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Capella University and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University.
Catherine has been a pivotal member of New Hope Therapeutic Services since 2023, helping to shape the foundation of the practice. With years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, she not only provides direct clinical care but also supports the next generation of clinicians by offering supervision, particularly for those working primarily with children and youth.
She is passionate about guiding children, adolescents, and their families as they navigate mental health and behavioral challenges. Catherine has extensive experience with neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, and sensory processing differences. Her approach is individualized, respectful, and strength based, with a focus on honoring each person’s unique ways of learning and communicating. She also has a strong background in supporting individuals with special needs, people who have experienced homelessness, and those managing significant behavioral concerns.
Drawing from evidence based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices, Catherine helps clients build emotional regulation, develop coping strategies, and strengthen relationships. She is deeply committed to advocacy and finds fulfillment in helping clients grow, thrive, and achieve their goals.
Outside of her clinical work, Catherine enjoys spending time with her two dogs and expressing her creativity through building intricate LEGO sets. In the warmer months, she loves hiking, biking, and being with friends and family. A dedicated lifelong learner, she continues to pursue advanced trainings to expand her knowledge and strengthen her practice.
