Alice Da Cruz, LMSW
Alice is a compassionate and dedicated school social worker who specializes in supporting young children and their families. She earned her Master’s in Social Work in 2023 and brings a deep passion for helping children navigate their emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy coping skills. Grounded in the belief that every child deserves a safe and affirming space to grow emotionally and feel heard, Alice approaches each child with empathy, curiosity, and respect.
With six years of experience working in both school and community settings, Alice integrates evidence-based practices with creative, child-centered therapeutic techniques tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs. She is trauma-informed and experienced in supporting children who are working through anxiety, behavioral challenges, life transitions, grief, and the impacts of trauma. Alice also has extensive experience working with children with ADHD, helping them strengthen executive-functioning skills, manage emotional regulation, and build confidence in both academic and social settings.
In her role as a school social worker, Alice collaborates closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure children receive the wraparound support they need to succeed. She is committed to creating welcoming, supportive environments where children feel empowered to express themselves, develop healthier patterns of coping, and reach their fullest potential—both in and outside the classroom.
Outside of her professional work, Alice enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, baking delicious treats, and relaxing with a good movie. She also loves exploring new places, spending sunny days at the beach, and trying new foods wherever she goes.
