Christal Furphy Corrigan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, empathy, and practical support. She believes that every person deserves a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.

Christal genuinely enjoys working with a wide range of clients, from children ages 8 and older through adolescence, adulthood, and older adulthood. She values the unique perspectives each stage of life brings and finds it especially rewarding to help clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and navigate life's transitions with confidence.

Her professional experience spans outpatient mental health, community-based services, and healthcare settings. Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, caregiver stress, life transitions, chronic illness, and crisis situations. She also has extensive experience collaborating with families, schools, medical providers, and community resources to ensure clients receive comprehensive, personalized care.

Christal utilizes evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs, strengths, and goals. Her warm, collaborative approach allows clients to feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions while developing practical skills to improve emotional well-being and create lasting change.

Christal earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University and her Bachelor of Social Work from Western Connecticut State University. She is committed to providing personalized, compassionate care and feels honored to walk alongside her clients as they move toward healing, growth, and hope.

When she's not supporting clients, Christal enjoys staying active through CrossFit, spending time outdoors with her husband tackling farm chores and home projects, and unwinding in the kitchen baking sweet treats for family and friends.
